Things Inside My Grimoire I Would Have Lost My Mind Over as a Beginner Witch

When I first started exploring witchcraft, I wanted to learn everything. The problem was figuring out where the heck to start. I would find one interesting thing, which led to six more things I needed to Google, three books I suddenly wanted to buy, and approximately 47 tabs open on my computer.

So while I was creating The Resourceful Witch’s Grimoire, I kept thinking about the kind of book I would have absolutely lost my mind over when I was beginning. Here are a few things inside it that Beginner Me would have loved:

🌙 Moon magick that doesn't require memorizing everything

The phases, what they're commonly associated with, spell ideas, practices to try—and the reminder that the moon is a guide, not a deadline. Because sometimes you miss the full moon. The moon does, in fact, come back.

🌿 Correspondences organized by what you're actually trying to do

Instead of thinking, Wait, what is rosemary for again? you can start with your intention—protection, confidence, abundance, healing, creativity, love, release, and more—and find herbs, colors, crystals, symbols, simple spell ideas, and everyday alternatives that fit.

🍂 The entire Wheel of the Year in one place

Each Sabbat includes correspondences, simple celebration ideas, reflection prompts, and low-key ways to actually connect with the season. No elaborate Pinterest-perfect celebration required.

☕ Witchcraft that happens in normal life

Coffee. Cleaning. Cooking. Gardening. Getting dressed. Taking a shower. Walking outside. Spending time with your animals. Finding out that witchcraft could live inside things I was already doing would have changed so much for Beginner Me.

🔮 Space to actually figure out MY practice

Not just pages telling you what something means. Prompts. Worksheets. Trackers. Places to experiment, reflect, write shit down, change your mind, and discover what actually resonates with you. Because that's the part I wish I'd understood sooner:

You don't have to learn how to practice exactly like someone else. You get to build a practice that's yours.

Wish you had this when you were starting, too?

The Resourceful Witch's Grimoire is the 222-page witchcraft workbook I wish Beginner Me could have pulled off the shelf - practical, approachable, and designed to be written in, skipped around, revisited, and made completely your own.
